Thank Governor Evers
In an effort to hold onto power, Republicans in the state Legislature are trying to take away our freedom to vote. They want to control who has a say in our democracy and who gets their voice heard at the ballot box.
Voting is our right, yet some want to make it more difficult for elderly voters and voters with disabilities to vote early or vote by mail.
The measures that Republicans are taking are wrong. In August, Governor Tony Evers took action by vetoing a series of voter suppression bills, keeping the freedom to vote in our hands.
